Andrea Lebel, a practicing Physiotherapist since 1982, specializes in the treatment of Scoliosis, Hyperkyphosis, Spinal Conditions, and Postural Dysfunctions throughout Canada and internationally. She treats all ages, including Early Onset Scoliosis, AIS, and Adult Scoliosis.

Having Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS) herself as a teenager, Andrea underwent conservative treatment in Europe, and has a deep understanding of what teenagers and their families go through when initially diagnosed.

In 2008, Andrea became the first Schroth Certified Physiotherapist in Canada. As the owner and director of the Scoliosis Physiotherapy & Posture Clinic in Ottawa, Canada, Andrea has successfully channelled her success with the conservative management of Scoliosis and reinforced her goal of enhancing non-surgical physiotherapy methods (PSSE and bracing) for scoliosis treatment and pre and post surgical rehabilitation.

Andrea co-founded Scoliosis and Spine Online Learning (SSOL) in 2018 to teach health care professionals and extend awareness globally.

Andrea Lebel has over 40 years of clinical and hospital experience in all aspects of physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and exercise in orthopedics, geriatrics, Parkinsons, and sports injuries. Her clinical practice and research is now focused on scoliosis and back disorders, and she is regularly invited to participate at international symposiums and conferences .
